These Russian names are not so easy... I guess the guys were up most of the night practising.

Anyone else planning on watching this? I have a feeling Kyle is gonna get smashed.

I am, almost every fight on this card is really good, especially Yan-Magomedov, Vartanyan-Abdulvakhabov and Goltsov-Kyle. There are tons of prospects too like Nikaev, Koshkin, Sultanbiev and many others

This is from Steve Cook Abbott who is commentating alongside Barnatt today.

Today burgeoning Russian promotion Absolute Championship Berkut (ACB) hits Moscow for its 32nd show. The card consists of some of the hottest prospects in European MMA, some well travelled vets and arguably some of the next wave of UFC talent. Already considered one of the top promotions in Europe (Fight Matrix has them ranked just behind UFC, Bellator and OneFC) ACB continues to grow its roster and its fanbase at an incredible rate; 32 showsin two years is testament to this!

This Saturday ACB bring their motto of 'less show more fight' back to Moscow with thirteen professional contests including an interim Bantam Weight Championship fight between Piotr 'No Mercy' Yan (5-0) and Magomed Magomedov (12-1) in the co main, and long time ACB Lightweight Champion Abdul-Aziz Abdulvakhabov (12-1) defends his title in the main event against dangerous challenger Eduard Vartanyan (12-2). Also on the card are UFC, WEC, StrikeForce, and WSOF veteran Mike Kyle (21-13-1) fighting Denis Golstov (16-4) Although not a household name yet Golstov has competed with and beaten some well known competition like Brett Rogers, and his vicious head kick KO of British fighter James McSweeney is a must see. With only three of his wins coming by decision Golstov is a proven finisher.

Other notable fights include the return to MMA of Yana 'Foxy' Kunitskya (8-1) who after taking time off to become a mother returns to the cage after a 36 month plus lay off. Fans of WMMA may well remember just how good Kunitskaya was and it will be interesting to see how she returns to the cage against the always game Zaira Dyshekova (2-2). Added to the pressure of Kunitskaya's return is the potential Invicta FC contract that a big win could realise. There is also a potential Welterweight Title eliminator between Russia's fifth ranked welterweight Sergey 'Honda' Khandozhko (21-2-1) and the Czech Republics fifth ranked welterweight Patrick Kincl. At 23 yrs old 'Honda' is one of the most experienced young fighters in MMA. Finally, the stereotype about the stony faced Russian fighter can be put to rest as Ilya 'The Dentist' Sheglov (4-1) is their version of Lewis Long (the happiest man inMMA). With all his wins coming by finish this happy warrior faces Zaurbek Bashaev (2-1) and hopes to continue his perfect finishing streak.

Having been here amongst the fighters and camps I have seen many of the stereotypes shattered. These fighters all have great stories and personalities, and if you are a real fan of MMA the skill sets will not disappoint either!
