Amanda Nunes is now 8-0 in title fights (11-0 in non title fights) in just under 4 years across 2 divisions, including beating every previous champ in the history of both divisions. She's won 5/8 via finish. 4 of those 5 in round 1. Also first double champ to defend both belts at the same time. WMMA Goat without any question. Prove me wrong.

Why not just link the tweet instead of pretending like it's your own thoughts lol

??? You can get all the stats simply from Wikipedia. I don't know if you have to borrow them from twitter.

Most people won’t argue her standing as the GOAT of WMMA. Some people will argue for say Cyborg, or Ronda. But, It’s only when you try to inject her into the mma GOAT conversation that you will meet any real resistance.

But didn't DC do this? He won the LHW belt, defended it three times, then moved up and beat Stipe and defended it against Lewis right before they stripped him of the LHW title.

Did he do that concurrently? DC never defended his LHW belt after capturing his HW belt. That what separates Amanda from other Double champs like Cejudo or DC who defended at both weight classes. They never went back to their og weight class to defend that belt.

Post gifs of the skill level opponent was displaying. Some of the ground flips or head duck arm flailing, maybe the 1 leg up head covering defense.

Yeah but the only problem is it's still WMMA...just doesn't excite me as much.

How did you get double yellows? Is that recent?

If you love finishes then you should lover her cause her finishing rate is higher than many male champion ( Usman, Khabib, Jones lately comes to mind), As far as I know majority of sherdog's residents hate point fighting.

Oh I guess if you define it like that then yeah. But idk, DC had pretty much cleaned out LHW other than Jones before moving up. I mean his last defense was Volkan and he had been beaten by Jones twice so no real reason to move back down. To me that's different from someone like Conor who won the FW title never defended it and never looked back after moving up to LW where he beat a champ with no title defenses unlike DC who beat a champ that three and the longest title defense streak in the division's history.

I guess what I am saying is that I think DC is the best double champ. Henry comes in as a close second then I'd put Amanda at third ahead of Conor at fourth. Sure Amanda has the most title wins but also fought the weakest competition. Conor has the single best win in KOing Aldo in 13 seconds but only won three title fights and never defended.

I think he means the competition is shit which is true. Most competitive Women's division is 115 and even there they barely have ten good fighters.

Amanda has completely cleaned out FW and BW at this point, virtually no one at either weight class is an interesting challenge for her at this point. Actually competitive divisions are virtually impossible to clean out though.

DC's LHW championship was questionable cause he never hold the lineal belt. Many still consider him as paper champ. Henry's win over DJ was controversial. So was his BW title shot. He leapfrogged many deserved BW contender for that title shot. DC's title defense against Black beast is just meh. It shows up on stat but we all know he cherrypicked his HW title defense, While Blaydes at that point would have been a better contender for the title.

So nobody thought she lost to Valentina?

She still has the overall better resume but when you lose to a smaller more technical fighter that's a huge blemish imo. It's akin to prime Jones losing to Silva moving up a weightclass.

Greg Hardy would wreck her with ease. She wouldn’t last 5 min on the real battlefield. This is nothing but fluff.

I wouldn't call her competition shit when most of her defenses & resume consists of either past or present champions but compared to Men's MMA it is & I never tried to pass her as overall GOAT regardless of Gender or something or tried to claim her to be the P4P champion regardless of gender like UFC tries. That was simply not the point.

The discussion about her domination can exist despite the gender. There's no need to compare it with Men's MMA & for once I never tried it.

It's a 50-50 fight. 10 outlets had it for Amanda, 10 for Valentia while 2 had it for draw. So I don't get this notion of yours. It's not in absolute like you were claiming.

If that's the case then no one, I mean no one apart from any HW fighter can or should be considered as GOAT. That makes GSP, MM, Anderson SIlva or Jon Jones's claim to GOATness null & void.
