Generally I don’t see the problem with making matches at the most appropriate weight for the two fighters. In boxing guys jump around in weight throughout their career and nobody makes a big deal out of it. In MMA we treat it like they’re competing in a different sport.

because it is a different sport. the grappling aspect of this sport makes every comparison u just made to boxing wrong. its not fair to real 155ers who are abused by weight cutting 170s anyhow.

- Fight irrelevant for LW since it was in WW
- Ferreira who beat Pettis is more relevant for LW title than Conor right now.
- Conor still doesn't deserve rematch right now.
- Khabib might as well fight John Jones or Henry Cejudo for the LW title, this was WW fight.
- Needs to beat a real contender at LW.
