This. I was never super impressed with Barao because in the back of mind I always thought Cruz would beat him rather easily.

I always thought the Barao > Aldo thing was short sited. It just shows the huge bias towards excitement and finishes over technique and skill with MMA fans.

Aldo is a better striker than Barao, especially in his boxing and footwork. They have comparable grappling.
