A year off for Kelvin/Max?

They both had their brains scrambled tonight. Max actually displayed a granite chin even more than big-headed Kelvin.
Is a year off for both guys reasonable? Or should one or both get back on the horse in 6 months or less?

Honestly they should both take a long lay off, the Max/Diamond fight is one of those fights that just aged Max's career by 5 years.

Max needs to stay at FW & work on his head defense, otherwise he's gonna have the worst case of CTE we've ever seen. Can't believe the chin on that guy though.

Fuck, these was life altering fights for the losers. For sure minumum of 6 months break until they fight again. But most importantly, don't give them a fucking killer in their next fights. It's easier for Kelvin, he doesn't have a belt to defend. But I think UFC can give Holloway a soft touch with Zabit for example. He has hype - number one, and number two he doesn't hit hard + would have issues with the tempo in the 4th and 5th rounds if we judge from his previous fights in the organisation. If I were Holloway I would for sure want Zabit and nobody else. Volkanovski for example sounds like a nightmare, he has an iron chin and hits like a train.
