A lot of old school names in this one. Overeem was my favorite. People might see it as arrogant, but atleast he is honest with you and you know what you’re going to get sparring him.
It did come off a little arrogant because he was basically saying yeah I'm going to hit these people really hard because I don't get hit much back.Overeem was my favorite. People might see it as arrogant, but atleast he is honest with you and you know what you’re going to get sparring him.

tbf, I think they get too bad of a rep. The pros damn near go for ko’s, but for most part the punches aren’t bad. It’s just full force to body and legs. Which I think is totally fine. That's the Dutch school, they always go hard in sparring.
Everyone gets treated equally by the ReemOvereem was my favorite. People might see it as arrogant, but atleast he is honest with you and you know what you’re going to get sparring him.
Idk he is easier to ko, but Roy Nelson has taken some major bombs in his career. That jds fight easily took 5 years off his lifeOut of all these fighters Reem probably has taken the most damage.
Have heard from people who’ve trained with Jeff Chan, say he is a dickhead who guys too hard on lesser experienced guys.tbf, I think they get too bad of a rep. This new stuff like with that Jeff Chan guy is going to confuse the younger generation coming up
He has to pull off these techniques on someone. When I seen Clifton brown go with him, I knew he wouldn’t play into his social media game.. then people got upset cause Jeff said it was too hard for his liking. I guess I just grew up in a different time.Have heard from people who’ve trained with Jeff Chan, say he is a dickhead who guys too hard on lesser experienced guys.

To me, this is what real good sparring is minus that one hard elbow. However, homie shouldn’t have tried to sweep him in his own gym.

The chin on him is ridiculous. You don’t see people taking those kind of bombs in HW and keep fighting. In lower weight classes, sure, sometimes, but in HW that’s some crazy shit. Was going to write the same thing. Overeem's brain protects him by shutting down and preventing further punishment, Roy's just kept absorbing it ad nausem.
And only times I remember him being put out cold is arlovski and hunt. Still way more punishment outside of thatThe chin on him is ridiculous. You don’t see people taking those kind of bombs in HW and keep fighting. In lower weight classes, sure, sometimes, but in HW that’s some crazy shit.
Yet he speaks the best and English isn't even his first language.Out of all these fighters Reem probably has taken the most damage.
