Conor hasn't shown to be a great striker, are you kidding? Maybe cutting massive weight from 170 down to 145 and fighting manlets made him look better than he is be. But do you and the other nut huggers of his, forget Nate the fucking gate keeper, piecing Conor up with the most basic 1-2 combo's? Or got fucking dropped by the shittiest striker in Khabib? Khabib's striking is terrible. GNP striking is different than just standup, and dropping your boi Conman doesn't mean his striking is good or elite, lol.
Nate has good boxing but dude is on the decline for a while now and still gets pieced up. 1-2 in his last 3 which were in 2016, and 2019. Masvidal turnt him into a skin graft donor, Nate just needed someone to donate that forehead flap too.

Tony went 12-1 in a division Conor is 1-1 in with his win 4 years ago. I know styles make fights but the number of people that think Tony would get run over is ridiculous. The guy is good on the ground and has a solid chin with good cardio. Any size advantage McGregor had completely diminishes against the majority of guys at 155. It just so happened Alvarez was tailor made for Conor. The stars were aligned for Dana and the UFC when they granted him the opportunity for that second title. McGregor barely squeaks by Nate Diaz.
