A Tale Of 2 Careers

When did USADA start? Not bashing. He was also 37 in 2012, which is past a lot of fighters primes. I’m just curious about the USADA part, especially since he did test positive once.

Who was Silva's best win before 2013? Franklin? Hendo? Okami?

He fought better competition after. When people were talking about him as the goat I never agreed because his quality of opponents wasn't that good before.

Roy at least had the luxury of fighting nobodies at the end of his career and went 12-1 in 6 years.
Anderson still has time to move to Bellator then PFL followed by One and Rizin.
The journey isn't complete

More like BJ Penn/Liddell/Emelianenko of MMA...
So sad to see the icons fall. The higher the pedestal the louder the sound...
Anderson always said he was the Roy Jones Jr of Vale Tudo. Anderson's downfall nearly mirrors Roys

True but at the same time, look who he fought

5 of his fights were against former/future champ and they were all in their primes.

For the other 3, one was a top contender (Cannonier) so was Brunson at the time of the fight. The worst fighter he fought was Hall and he's still #10.

Sure, he's not the same but ffs give him a fight that is winnable for a 40+years old fighter
