The Arm-In Ezekial is a simple and effective submission that works from multiple positions. If it is not already in your game it should be! WATCH THE VIDEO

I like hitting it from seat belt control while I have the back. it is really sneaky.

Yeah, hitting it from seatbelt is great. Seem innocuous, just a basic control, then slip it around and it becomes an awful choke.

Wow! I find myself in top turtle with nothing to do all the time. Really looking forward to trying this one.

yep, ever since watching Ryan Hall's Arm triangle's set

Same here. I primarily use the no gi variant, though (for those unaware, think inverted brabo/D'Arce from the back, the one Braulio choked Marcelo with in the 2009 ADCC), as my game uses as few gi grips as possible, but I'll occasionally grab the sleeve if I can't get deep enough for the biceps grip.

Actually, I never really go for the RNC anymore if I've got back control on the choke/overhook side, I just reset via leg drag/chair sit and go for the Ezekiel instead. Then if the opponent counters by posturing hard to prevent me from closing his shoulder to his neck - and is successful in doing so - he gives me the opening to shoot the RNC.

I hit this off the leg drag a lot ever since I saw Keenan do it.

Actually I very rarely do it with the arm in, but I do it with the arm out all the time. Maybe I should work it into my game more.

Any vid or more detailed information on how to do it?

It's brilliant when the opponent turns away from a pass. It also allows for you to be able to re-adjust easily for the seatbelt grip if the choke becomes unavailable.

Not to mention the power and threat involved in the smooth combination it has with the kata gatame. One of the highest percentage transitions from submission to submission I have discovered in training BJJ imo.

Awesome. I've felt like I struggle to much with finishing from the back nogi, with only fishing for the RNC. Looks like this would be lovely to vary with.

This actually looks like a really good video series. May have to buy it.
