Please MMA Gods. Give this guy one more win.

You did it for Big Nog. You did it for Mir. You brought Arlovski and Lawler back from the brink. You gave us Holly/Ronda and Nate/Conor.

One more time MMA Gods. For old time's sake.

To the death Georges

There's an old boxing quote (that I can't seem to dig up) that goes something like,
"Never put your heart into a fighter, because he'll break it every time".

It's rare for a fighter to retire on a good note. They usually wind up being carried out. Even the great ones.

If he wins this one maybe one more against Nik "the warrior poet" Lentz he might get his crack at Mcgregor, over Edgar, ofcourse.

Man, that gif. That fight. BJ fucked Diego up real bad.

Exactly. Put it in the fight, not the fighter. Way too many grown men worshipping and hating on other grown men that are strangers around here and not fighting.

I agree with TS that I hope Sherk and Diego get one more win.

Lawler was never "on the brink", he was fighting MW's like Jacare (a MW contender), and even fought former UFC LHW contender Sobral.

As a matter of fact, I laughed heartily at many people here underestimating Lawler when he came back to the UFC because they didn't know or acknowledge that most of his losses before returning were at higher weight classes, and they were stunned that he did better against people his size. I enjoyed how many people thought he had no chance against Rory in their first fight.

Alright, had to rant, ANYWAY, haha.

I think Dennis Siver is the perfect gauge to see where Penn is at. I'm not getting my hopes up, but if Penn returns to anything resembling his old form, he should tear Siver up in the first round. I hope Penn goes out on a high note.

We'll see.

Whatever is worse than bj penn's last fight,i dont wanna see.

if he wins, it'll probably be by decision via greg jackson gameplan.

nothing to be excited for.

The whole point in fighting siver is to give he other guy a win ...
