This came up as a suggestion Friday afternoon movie on Prime yesterday. I love a good revenge flick and really like Carey Mulligan so I gave it a go.

Considering I don't remember ever hearing of it what a great job Prime did. I understand why it won the screenplay Oscar albeit I don't know who the competition was.

9.9/10. Best payback/revenge movie I've seen since Danny Dyer and Gillian Anderson in Straightheads.

Yeah I saw 30 minutes of it. It"s a movie of its time. Perfect for the metoo generation

Good movie. I don’t recall who won the big awards that year but Mulligan had a strong case. Very compelling performance.

Burnham really impressed me, too. Had an effortless, authentic quality to his performance and for a guy who I consider more of an innovative comedic performer rather than an actor, he was a natural.

Really good cast overall. Molly Shannon is typically great. And Max Greenfield always stands out to me as someone who can play likable, affable types and smug, arrogant jerks with just as much ease (being the latter in this one).

It’s an unsettling movie. But has an interesting mixing of genres too (thriller, drama, revenge film, and there are times the mulligan/burnham stuff feels like it’s out of some romcom).

The way they got together and were Netflix and chilling definite romcom after forgiving her for the way he found her with that guy.

I have so much love as an OC fan of Adam Brody so that was a turn up for the books! I like as well that she called off hits when she felt sorry for the wrongs the people had done.

for some reason I came into this movie thinking she was taking revenge on these dudes by killing them. So I was pretty disappointed when she started yelling at them then leaving.

oh. well thats anticlimactic.

also i have to lol at cuffs making threads like this. sure there's the odd few guys here that'll watch such a film, but the majority? this is sherdog, incel haven.

bless her for trying to start a conversation tho. sherdoggers, feel free to make me look like a jackass for assuming y'all wouldn't watch this. i welcome it xx

Pretty sure I have seen it. Hard Candy comes to mind for some reason.

the first guy she was doing it to was that guy from OC, and they didn't show how it ended, I was like, alright she merked him, they'll show the next one. Then it was McLovin's turn. I was waiting to see how she killed him, then she just told him he's a piece of shit and then left. At that point, I realized I had seriously misjudged things.

You think I didn't strive for the first response? Pretty much knew it was going to be Sherdog gonna Sherdog and then some sensible discussion would prevail.

She didn't kill anyone. Just scared them into never fucking with women like that again. She hired people to fuck them up and didn't follow through.

Coincidence. I was just scrolling for something to watch and came across this a few minutes ago and watched the trailer. Decided to turn the tv off and scroll sherdog. Now I think Ill give the movie a watch, thanks for recommendation.

I have honestly never heard of this movie. I’ll put it on my list as I like to try different genres. Gotta finish Blood of Zeus season 3 first.

I hope we haven't spoiled too much. She's brilliant always and it's a brilliant movie.

it's been a while since I watched it, and I don't remember everything perfectly, but there was one scene where she ran into the friends of one of the dudes she yelled at, and they just yelled at her and called her crazy for fucking with their friend. Didn't sound like they learned anything, other than to avoid her.

She should have been killing them, movie would have been way better.

just finished. Great movie.
i do believe she was going to carve the girls name in the last mans chest before he got loose and killed her. I think seeing the video and having the first person she opened up to end up being one of the slime balls pushed her over the top even though she never physically hurt anyone prior.

Yeah that plot twist I think tipped her over a very precarious edge. The way she pre planned with letters/texts etc she definitely knew her ultimate fuck you to all of them was the ultimate sacrifice.
