Ive been sober for 10 years, so no I don't take drugs. Only vice I have is gambling.

Its hard brother, I just leave my bank card at home so I dont get tempted to get any from the ATM at the Casino, I also stay away from table games now thats where I would lose my cash by the thousands because you tell yourself this is skills based so you think you go ta shot, where with slots you can tell yourself ill just bring this amount and win or lose thats it. when you play cards they also tempt you with free Liquor and I can't have that, or ill give in worse.

luckily im not a degenerate gambler, thats scary there I have self control I like leaving with some cash its more of fun for me but the rush when you win is crazy even when you keep getting bonuses or some line hits you get this rush.

the rush you get when you are nearly down on your money and than hit a big win is hard to explain its like a euphoria. I remember putting two hundred in a machine not getting any line hits and then I was down to 20 and already crying inside feeling sick, and sad and telling myself you idiot you should have switched machines and then bam a huge massive line hit of 500 bucks or more and you get this smile and rush that goes through your body its almost orgasmic and without using any single drug.

I don't really understand gambling.. ive only put a few quid into some machines and played a couple games of poker.. does nothing for me.. I can see how people may become trapped by its illusion..
I had an old boss who was always gambling, he had to leave Newcastle and he just disappeared one week, apparently some gangsters were after him.. wonder what happened to him?

The games have changed brother, I never gambled slots before, only starting around 2012ish after I quit playing table games and drinking. The slots are super addictive before they were just three reel boring ass cherry slots.

Now they are like video games
If you go on youtube slot machine videos get a lot of views and a growing niche

I played the pokies a little when I was in OZ, the casinos were wild over their much bigger than the UK ones. If the casinos were like that here I would probably go to them.. have a few beers and a few games..

Brother they live stream it to fund their gambling addiction, several of them make like 5 thousand a week of adsense on their videos combined with donations or patreon subs. Its a business, one of the top slot channels makes 460 thousand a year off youtube ads and super chat donations and he blows it all gambling.

there are some channels who are not degenerates and gamble modestly and save the rest, they have self control these are the ones who are not betting big, they mainly do 5 bucks tops the other guys are betting 50 dollars a spin.
I would never bet like this ever even if I wer ea millionaire when you start betting this big you cannot go lower these people go too far and will likely have some IRS issues with the way the gamble or go broke even if they make money off youtube
 
Fungi are scary. Modern medicine doesn't really have good anti fungal drugs. There are some fungal infections that are with you for life once you get them.

And plenty that will kill you.

I know someone who worked in a hospital and they saw a woman with half her face gone and some kind of tiny mushroom things growing inside her head.
