-Both guys are from California

-Tony won the 2006 National Collegiate Wrestling Association national wrestling championship in the 165-lb division. Colby won the 165 lb national junior college wrestling title in 2007.

-Endless cardio

-Volume pressure specialists

-Both have a tribal tattoo on their bicep

-Both have the American wrestling tattoo, Colby on his back, Tony on his calf.

-Both guys have to fight the baddest smothering wrestler of their division next for the belt.

-Both guys are known enemies of Abdelasleeze.

-Both guys won interim titles & had them stripped without ever losing.

-Both guys have been described as "cringy".

-Both guys had an altercation with Werdum.

-Colby is 15-1, Tony is 15-1 in the UFC.

Illuminati confirmed?

Very interesting OP

They fight very differently but they indeed have a ton of similarities.

Big difference with their altercations with Werdum: Colby cowered like a bitch whereas Tony was straight up ready to throw down

Lmao that’s actually pretty fkn interesting

Some cool facts but also reaching for some as well. Ferguson is awkward but still cool. Colby is just... I don't know but he screams 'LOOK AT ME!'

Once I noticed the Ali, Werdum, Interim titles angle I started digging deeper. Saw the same tattoos, like damn.

Then I saw they both won some form of a wrestling title in college at 165 lbs. And both from Cali etc. Got a little weird.

Tony would have hit that ankle pick if security didn't step in

Fun Fact:
Both guys are known to obnoxiously wear sunglasses indoors and at all times of the day or night

Its interesting for a second, but then you realize that Tony would never let someone assualt him without consequence.

One is literally the most exciting fighter to watch while the other is one of the most boring

Then you look at their fighting styles and it's totally different

-Tony is a must watch fighter in the game currently, extremely exciting to watch.
-Colby is incredibly boring

-Tony much prefers to scrap and bang on the feet
-Colby takes a wrestle-heavy approach

-Tony has a wicked submission arsenal and he pulls out subs from nowhere
-Colby has very little submission abilities

-Colby is the ultimate decision-machine and he rarely finishes fights
-Tony has one of the highest finishing rates in the lightweight division and entire UFC

Mostly accurate, but Colby isn't actually that wrestling heavy. He landed 154 distance strikes vs Lawler, 90 vs RDA, & 81 vs Maia. An average of 25 distance strikes landed per round. That's a lot, and 90+% of his offense.
