The conundrum is that you're at work one day and a terrorist approaches the cabin, which you have securely locked, and informs you that they have a friend on the other end of their telephone line, with a knife to your child's throat.

If you don't open the door and let them in, your child dies, if you open the door you will survive but the one hundred and fifty eight passengers/crew will die.

What do you do?

(I will write my answer in a bit. My daughter has been taken to hospital because of breathing difficulty, paramedic suspects asthma and lung infection, if she were an adult they might have kept her home but extra precaution for kids, mother and daughter off in ambulance. So it's on my mind. Obviously this stuff is common place and minor in the grand scheme of things. But that shit doesn't matter, I'm obviously terrified. I know you all have my back, thanks.)

To be fair, if an enemy spy or soldier or something were making me choose, I dont negotiate with terrorists. I'd just put a hit out and try to get revenge.
