A GSP-Khabib Match is still possible

GSP said he‘ll never fight again after age 40, he thinks he has no business fighting after that age.

GSP is 38. Tony will fight Khabib in April and likely lose.

Khabib fights twice a year at best.

GSP vs. Khabib in November or December of 2020.

39 year old GSP no one can call done. Khabib wins and he’s the greatest MMA artist ever.

I have Khabib by decision.

GSP has had one fight in six years. He's 38, and lost most of his mobility when he blew his knee years ago. He's one of the all time greats, but his day is long gone, and he should enjoy his retirement. Khabib is very good, but should defend against someone in their prime, not fight an old man.

 

Not interested. GSP is past his prime, wouldn't go well for him. I think it would be an easy win for Khabib at this point.

Conor on his FW and LW title runs are the only examples of a champ willing to take on the work load, and we all saw how that ended when he took his belts and went radio silent.

The UFC (Dana) knows that GSP would beat Khabib and retire.

Khabib would loss a lot of value with a L's on his record.

Why do people think it has to be at lightweight?
I think i remember Firas saying recently that if they were to do it, they'd do it at a catchweight of ~165 pounds.
