Hate to pile it in to Hendricks after a loss, but his post fight interview was appalling and far more damaging to his image than the ko. Id expect a former champ with Hendricks' pedigree to have more respect for himself instead of listing numerous excuses, including accusations of Thompson running. Take your loss like a man!

I could stomach the excuses after the GSP fight, he lost a close decision and I can understand the frustration. There was no controversy in this fight and making excuses is a bad look on him.

Didn't listen to the interviews, what did he say?

I was 70% sure he was gonna say something stupid

I was a Hendricks fan early in his career but the guy is an excuse making machine. He has NEVER lost a fight, EVER. He has only been screwed out of wins. He didnt lose to Wonderboy, the ref stopped it early or Thompson kicked him in the stomach which is NOT FAIR!

I thought he was going to win this fight with his wrestling, I lost cash and vcash but I ended up just as happy had I won

Anybody see his wiki page recently?

- "Big Pigg"
- Fighting style of "Feed, Me"
- Lost to Thompson by "TKO (Steak Famine)"
- The 4-time All-American for OSU finished with a college record of 159–13. Only 7 steaks after his last match, Hendricks would go on to have his first Porthouse 15 oz sirloin."

What all excuses did make?

I only pulled for Johnny once, and that was against condit, loved seeing the natural born runner get decisioned.

Other than that, can't stand hendricks. Glad he lost and hope he loses his next 3 then gets cut.

The fight was under a round, and he kept going on about Wonderboy running. What a laugh, you could tell he had no answer to what was being tossed at him. He makes it really hard for anyone to like him.

Oh my god, who gives a fuck?

A professional fighter has to justify his losses to keep his mentality right, what else is new? If he wants to make "excuses" let him, and deduct your self what is true and what is not.

Worse than 3. grade this shit. "Omfg fighter made excuse, let's all gang up and not like him, I'm sure he will be really sad now"

Yes , Carlos Condit has been known to run throughout his career. That makes him natural born, all right. Very catchy.

natural born runner? i like it.

i also like how people dont let things like the facts stand in the way of a catchy, though inaccurate, nickname.

how about Chuck "I rely heavily on my bjj blackbelt" liddell?

or Roy "no, take my plate, im all done" nelson?

or Dana "lets pair the fighters a living wage and make sure they have the chance to earn a good living from sponsorships" white.

am i doing it right?

He has a right to be upset about losing to such an inferior fighter. A bunch of blocked movie star kicks and one lucky punch is all the fight was.

He just needed more vennison in his chewing tobacco.

Lmao Diaz fans have to be the most salty fans in all of mma.

I just watched his in cage interview. He was the classiest I've ever heard him. Guess he must have started stewing back in the locker room.
