That's the only problem i have with Khabib and the goat talk about him, i mean, nobody deny what he have done in a short period of time (cleaning his whole division and looking unstopable) but it's easier to be undefeated and look unstopable when you leave early

It's not like he is leaving at his early downfall feeling he is not at the top anymore and risk to loose with unecesarry more fights

He is at his prime but refuse to push it farther, is that a goat mentality? It's like his perfect resume matter more than anything else

For me guys like Shogun, AS, Overeem, are more close to goat statut than Khabib, despite many terrible losses

There is a taste of unachievement about Khabib career despite all he have done

It isn't the age of retirement that is a problem but the lack of quality defences/title fights. His certainly been great but his resume is thin compared to other more worthy goat candidates.

That said Khabib might not be done and has the chance to become the goat, but currently he has a way to go.

every day there's either a khabib is a goat thread or a Khabib is not a goat thread.

My question for you guys. Do you guys ever get tired of having that convo?

I dont like it either but he is an ATG regardless. His milage was mostly accrued from training not actual fights. Looks like he doesnt want GSP at WW and he is definitely too concerned with the goose egg.

Others can consider him the GOAT I guess, everyone is entitled to their opinion. In my opinion he can't be the GOAT, because there are others with many more title defenses than him. He has a much better claim as the LW GOAT, although it's not a sure thing as BJ Penn has more defenses. Khabib has a better MMA record though and the LW division was deeper when he was contending for the belt, so I guess it depends what one values more.

Yes, b/c Khabib was 32 when he retired...

Inshallah, my brother...

Name a better goat contender at LW

I understand what you’re saying. He still has a lot left in the tank.

I’d rather see him get out now than hang around too long like a BJ Penn

Yeah 12 years bro. He started smashing WW's then went pro 8 yrs in the ufc and fought smaller LW's. He was a weight bully i think thats what the kids are calling him.
