Mine, Gomi

Tatsuya Kawajiri vs Takanori Gomi

I think this and Hayato Sakurai is Gomi at his very peak.

Gomi dropped his fight to Hansen and BJ Penn after going undefeated for how many fights, and then he went on this run in PRIDE lightweight division, which was rumored to have its weight limit set little higher just for Gomi to make weight, which is probably not well founded one at all, and at the peak of his powers, he was the only fighter in a decade or so who was ranked as the number one pound for pound fighter on Sherdog, albeit he shared the spot with Fedor, other than Fedor, Anderson and Jones.

Rich Franklin beating Jorge Rivera. At that time Rivera was seen as one of the most dangerous strikers and a real threat to anyone. Rich outstruck him and submitted him

I had to read that title aloud to understand it.

I can say Oliveira vs Edgar. He fought a good fight. My man has future.

Sounds like Yoda asking this question lol. Shit now I can't think of a fight

....Thread title sentence hurts my brain

Sakuraba vs Vitor.

Vitor outweighed Saku by 25 lbs and just came of the performance of a lifetime blitzing Wanderlei. Saku outclassed him both on the feet and the ground. He had Vitor flopping on his back like a cheap hooker, landing nasty spinning back kicks.
