I was thinking about this and why the UFC is not making a special division for women, super lightweight ( Ie. Mighty Mouse, Dodson) and fighters smaller than 5'8".

Dividing the fighters by their weights is kinda stupid I.M.O, they should be judged by their agressiveness and height. I think we need a division for fighters with less power. No more female shadowboxing during real UFC show, they would be presented freely on Youtube (no PPV)

    Opinions?..

    Youre an idiot.

Most female strawweights are more aggressive than the men

Do we really need to start reeling out lists of fights where men shadowboxed for 15 minutes

in terms of going forward, "aggression", there are very few examples of a strawweight backing off

There are loads of examples of mens fights were they didnt engage.

First round of fights especially, men spend more time feeling each other out, working out their distance

the Strawweight girls on the whole, just go for it straight off.

    For instance... UFC 201...

Out of 5 fights that went all three rounds, the womens fight was SECOND for strikes behind Masvidal/Pearson

The previous event going the distance (its easier to compare when its 15 minutes).. Ooh.. what a surprise, womens fight had highest rate of strikes

TS is basing on damage etc... how much damage inficted has nothing to do with aggression. For sheer aggression, womens strawweight matches any mans division, as do most of the mens lighter divisions...

    oh.. and...

Calderwood v Letourneau... more strikes than Wonderboy v McDonald IN HALF THE ROUNDS... Calderwood ended it in the third.. Wonderboy/Rory went to 5 rounds
