Whenever I get back to squats after a break and have to go through a few days of DOMS, I never have any soreness in my quads - only my inner thigh/hamstring area and the old manful pants-melons feel the burn.

Might this be an indicator of bad squat form? I don't use a particularly wide stance, I keep my heels flat and I believe my form is generally decent, though I am a novice squatter and as a garage lifter I've never had any expert assessment. It seems strange that the primary muscles used don't end up with any soreness.

I thought you were further along Revok...wasn't it you that posted the link to the Asian Squat??????...that was proper squat form and it is a primarily posterior-chain movment...so you are using correct form but oddly enough your understanding hasn't caught up to your form...

I dunno, I rarely ever get sore from squats too. I'm sure there are some problems with my form, but I generally think it is decent enough to be effective. In fact, the only thing that ever gets sore are my abs and occasionally my back (situps and deadlifts). I guess as long as your numbers keep going up you don't have any problems.
