    Bit over romantic. Fighters get hurt every fight in the UFC and they all carry on. It's quite rare u see a fighter quit in the octagon

    That statement is nonsense.

    By virtue of the fact that you did get up, it means that you could / were physically capable. The quote would more accurately stated as...

    "A champion is someone who gets up, even when it is hard to do so."

    nog is the man. He never has won his fights with the most style, but he sure as fuck stays in his fights till the end. Theres a difference between remaining physically in a fight, and remaining mentally in a fight. JDS was out of his fight mentally after the first round, guys like nog, they never leave their fights mentally.
