cause you're doing it wrong.
Can someone sumarise what has happened in this thread I havent kept up.?
Does Royce have a Pedro Sauer signature on his BB?
And you have an unhealthy obsession with being logical. This is the interweb!
How should I do it right then? By buying the Lugwrench DVD?
I think that's why he stopped teaching, instead of feeling guilty of being a fraud, he's scared that we are obsessed with him. I guess it works.
Probably doesn't help that idiots have posted his address and phone number, posted photographs of his car, called his house, repeatedly called his old gym, etc.
The fraud has been exposed. Justice was done. All the folks are doing at this point is harrassing the guy anonymously because they think it's funny. Bunch of cowards, IMO.
I'll admit I'm oddly fascinated by this fraud. I don't know why.
I haven't tried contacting him or anything, mostly just checking out this thread and his YouTube videos which are hilarious. Great shit.
I wouldn't call them cowards when they have attempted multiple times to meet him face to face. I also wouldn't say justice is done when it appears he is still teaching. I also do think harassing him is funny, so I guess we disagree on pretty much all points.
Link me to a single report that he is still teaching. The only evidence I have heard to that effect is that the gym's website has not been updated. They also have signup section for a tournament that took place last February, so I think it's safe to say they don't make major changes to it very often.
Secondly, anybody that is stupid enough to confront Paredes physically deserves whatever happens to them. A dojo storm is one thing, stalking and confronting a man in public is another matter entirely. And every bit as cowardly, IMO.
You know when KGB says that enough has been done, then enough has been done. This man takes his BJJ policing fo cereals.
So where can I get the lugwrench DVD?
It would be wild if one of his students came out and gave his story.
Sorry the limited run has been sold out and will never return. Until they do ofcourse
Stalking is a crime, as is assault & battery. Not to mention, North Carolina is a stand your ground state, and these idiots are throwing around ideas like approaching him at his car or his home.
After some research on BJJ in my local area I have found a few places which claim to teach it, but it all looks a bit fishy many of them are black belts and a friend of mine who has trained traditional for years went along and said they were a bunch of cowboys and questions whether they are legit. I think since BJJ is the new craze alot people are trying to make money off it.
You don't have to jitz somebody to fuck them up. Someone might go to mess with his car or his home for laughs and get shot, and that's really no one's fault but their own.
Stand your ground doesn't mean that you can shoot or assault someone because they speak to you. In North Carolina it also applies to your place of business, so technically visiting him at the dojo would fall under stand your ground.
The burden of proof is on the victim to prove that they were threatened and afraid of serious bodily injury (or sexual assualt in NC). The only difference with stand your ground is that you are not required to flee from a situation before using deadly force.
I agree approaching someone outside of the dojo is a bad idea, but I don't think if someone runs in to him somewhere outside of the dojo it gives paredes some carte blanche access to attack.
Separate names with a comma.
