A. Berto or L. Peterson : Brighter future?

Between Andre Berto and Lamont Peterson which one of these young studs do you predict to have the better future? While Peterson has been fighting at 140 and Berto at 147 we know this means little to nothing in terms on projecting what belts they'll hold five years from now. Hell, Mayweather won his first title at 130 lbs and has since won four more all the way up to 154 lbs.

Young Lamont Peterson has skills that will definitely make him a bonafied star if he continues to progress as expected. Lamont has speed, power and his technique is beautiful.

If Berto trains hard and continues to progress like he has thus far then I think he's a champ for a long time in several divisions. Berto has all the physical tools and he's a animal when pushing forward. My only skepticism with Berto is his chin, can he take a solid shot? His beard is still very questionable. If Berto can take a punch like the ones he delivers then look out. I see Berto vs. Cotto in the future fighting for a spot as the P4P best.

Who you got in 5 years as the better fighter?

Peterson for me. I can see Berto continuing his rise and then coming to a hault when he gets put in with a bigger fighter.

Like I said, Berto has a questinable chin to me, I'm also skeptical of his cardio.

However, I have faith that Berto won't lose for a while.

It might just be me, but I feel that some people overestimate Berto's power as well. Some people talk about him like he's got jedi KO power.

Questionable chin....and not a good combo when you get hit as much as he does.
