That is gorgeous.
$460? No thanks
Platform is beautiful.....price is not.
Well u need to remember wood of that quality and density is not cheap. To be honest I thought it would have been more
Yep. I work with wood, and this is nice wood, but perhaps overkill for a speedbag
Mind you, if I felt I could justify the cost, then why not...
yeah a lot of people are used to particle wood which causes the platform to vibrate which is highly annoying, this "looks" solid, and probably has no vibration what so ever.
Thats sick, I'm thinking of buying it. I mean seriously thinking of it.
I thinking of doing it after my move for sure
The OP's link shows a nice drum, but you can easily have one of those custom made after the fact. I'll stick to my Balazs platform. Rock solid, proven and also made in the USA.
Everlast and Titleboxing/mma stole this design from Balazs Boxing.

The wood quality is also terrible.
That was my poor attempt at trying to be sarcastic. Did you see the price on the everlast? 1300????
The design is amazing and worth the money for a large commercial gym, it is the best speed bag unit I have hit. I still want to try the cleto version...
