This entire election cycle has been "silly" . . . He's not being elected because he hosted The Apprentice. Sheesh.

He was elected largely because of charisma. There were several GOP candidates in 2016 and 2024 who have similar agendas but can speak far more intelligently on issues than Trump can. Trump is their boy because of his charisma and ability to sell shit to gullible people.

This is a dude who is such a psychopath he thinks of what mugshot pose can sell him the most t-shirts.

It’s hypocritical to pretend that electing Trump isn’t “choosing the lead in a movie.” That’s exactly what it is.

Is Harris and Walz running a campaign on keeping dem Muslims banned and a wall to prevent those rapists/drug dealers down south?

Is it a game that involves having people commit felonies and do jail/prison time on their behalf? Is it a game that gets their lawyers’ law licenses suspended? Is it one that disenfranchises millions of voters?
Those are the kinds of games that I’m most worried about.

I can't understand how anyone can listen to Trump "speak" and not come away with the indelible sense that he's an abject moron and buffoon of the highest order.

I'd only tune in if they were "debating" death by shark or electrocution. Sad.

I mean . . . Trump's legal issues are a problem because he got caught. Which is the case for most politicians. Nobody bats and eye at what they do until they get busted.

I see, you only care about games where a select group of people might have their rights impacted. Cool.

i'm probably going to get yelled at but i always wondered what a Romney presidency would have been like. i even read that memoir he put out recently. salmon sandwiches and lonely at washington and all that.

Yeah, I’m not a huge fan but he was in the category of “Republican presidencies I could tolerate.” Same with John McCain. I disagreed a lot with both guys, but I truly do think they care about the country, whereas with Trump I do not.

Of course I think Trump is going to steam roll her. Will surprise people by staying focused on policy, while still getting off some solid trolling if both Kamala and ABC News/fake news in general.

People say he hasn’t been practicing, etc. but he has done like over 100 rallies and dozens upon dozens of interviews since even just the 2022 midterms. He will be able to readily talk about any issue, or at least use an issue to pivot to something he would like to talk about more. He did that quite well in the debate vs biden

He beat the last guy so bad he quit being president afterwards, so yeah, anyone who thinks Trump isn't the favorite going into this is delusional.

Mrs. Harris' most famous debate performance was the one where Tulsi destroyed her so bad she quit running for president afterwards.
