    Was running short on time because a friend came to the gym to sign up and i waited around for her and my new work schedule is raping me on time frames to go lift. I got off work just after 7:30 and the gym is closed at 9:15.
    I would have gotten the last sohp set if i had a little more time, and i could have fit in another set of 4 pullups to match my 28reps from last week. I think i need to deload back some on SOHP, its just pretty hard and my form is still shitty cuz i slacked off on stretching for the last like 3 months. I am however glad that im doing it standing now, I can actually get my core worked between it and squats. I squatted in socks again and i liked it again. It really makes me aware of my foot position and i can feel myself drop in between my thighs. Plus i probably look insane to the gym rats that think squatting hurts teh kneez so that's fun.

    hey sorry i meant to respond sooner.

    Do you mean you tore both your pcl and mcl or you aren't sure. Of course it would be wise to get it checked out by one of those doctor types, but in general with the squats.... you want to do them. Just start super small and work up, maybe with higher rep ranges just because trying to go real heavy before you are ready may not work out. Make your own assessment once you feel good squatting.

    Squats are making me feel stronger every time. Just missing last friday and not making it up before today i can tell, its like engaging the muscles during a squat make you aware of their strength and you feel less instability because you know they work.

    I was given some advice from another forum member that had the same kind of surgery as myself, and I think it was sound. Work up to sets of 25 bw squats, then add the bar.

    Rushed to gym after work. Got there with 20 min to go and finished a couple minutes late. Student gym worker guy was doing P90x in the hall so I got to finish squats. :)

    Despite being tired as shit had a pretty good day. Pulled off +45x2 chins. Some regulars in the gym,4-5 ppl , only do p90x type stuff so they were all doing some dumbbell exercises when I strapped on a 45, and let out a yell when I made my attempt. Made the girls scream and I heard one say "I wanna do that" , which was awesome. Maybe I can convert her to a real lifting program. I think I could have had the +57.5 if I had ramped up to it instead of hitting two at +45. My abs were so shot after this, just dead.

    I am liking cleans also, I want to hit 225 by the years end.

    Ran out of time but this was hard today regardless. Felt like I hadn't recovered enough overall since the last session.

    Feel like my vastus medialis is still weak. Sometimes it feels like my knee wobbles a bit during the last 20-30 degrees of extension. Would like some advice on whether to push through and keep progression up or stall to let it catch up.

    Edit: I thought I hadn't recovered enough and that's why I the lifts were hard, which may be true but only because I was getting sick. Don't know when got the virus but I felt it in this workout.

    First workout I could manage since getting some virus on Saturday. Been pretty much just work and rest since then. I had to do something though and powercleans seemed fun. Need to back off the weight they felt muscled up and not accelerated up. Kept volume low because I'm still not 100%
