The king is back!
By next week it will be 200 million in 12 seconds.
Great performance, but i doubt he made 80 million in this fight. Lets say the fight sold 1.4 million, that would be 140 million ppv revenue + 10 million gate. So out of 150 million Conor gets 80? Very much doubt that. Maybe if the event sold as much as McGregor vs Khabib, but i very much doubt that.
They said 400m people watched it in Ireland alone
Not even Conor made that!
80 million is all he got. I made more posting on sherdog during the fight.
See I can make crap up too
No one bought this ppv, weak card.
There's no way he made $80 mill. Even the most basic maths is all you need to work that one out.
$80 mill when the UFC take something like 60% of PPVs means you need 2.2 mill PPVs with the UFC taking nothing at all to get to 80 mill. The UFC pay out much less than 50% of their income to fighters so it'd need more PPV sales than the UFC have ever done for $80 mill to be a realistic number.
Conor obviously will make a lot of money but nowhere near 80 million.
The PPV numbers could be a lot less than expected due to the fact Conor doesn't like any other big names on the same card as him.
Only way it's remotely possible is if he has lucrative endorsements associated with the event. Even then, hard to believe.
I have no clue as of how much Conor made for this fight. But my best guess is that he made much more than the UFC pay + PPV once you add all the sponsoring and merchandise and whatever other stuff he might make money off leading to a fight.
yes we needed an EXACT identical thread on this...
Also official pay out was 3 millions...
So according to TS Conor got a 77 mil bonus.
TS is special..
No chance in hell Conor made 40 million let alone 80. I would think above 10 is the high end of his potential earnings. Mayweather makes that much because he owns the company that promotes his fights.
That’s like half the country!
80 Million? source?
Couple of mills, 5 million tops. UFC has a lot of expenses before even start paying to their fighters, even if they make a record sale PPV there is no way they pay him anything close to 80m. That is just ridiculous.
In order to make 80 million from fighting in the UFC there must to be done a list of things. Number 1 - he has to sell fuck ton of PPV, somewhere above 3 million. And to copromote with UFC (they will never do that BTW) which means to pull out a lot of money out of his pocket and make other deals (merch, cable stations etc.) to sqeeze that much money for a single fight. And STILL he would pocket 30-50 million, 80 is just too much.
There is none.
Its based on Conor claiming he would make 80mil for this fight.
About the same he did for the Floyd fight.
Some how fighters are supposed to make more ppv money when ppvs moved to ESPN where they sell LESS events.
You're a boxing fan, though. And wrong.
Dana said 1.2 billion Irish watched it, and Conor is actually taking home $325mil.
C'mon, man. That tko was more legit than anything Wilder has done. Just look at how Conor's toes land with such force!
he made 100-200 millions vs Floyd
