8 UFC Superfights That Could Happen in 2015

1) Brock Lesnar vs. Fedor Emelianenko - Not a snowballs chance in hell!
2) Anderson Silva vs. Georges St-Pierre - No chance [Unless Diaz KO's Anderson]
3) Ben Askren vs. Robbie Lawler (or Johny Hendricks) - Not a superfight
4) T.J. Dillashaw vs. Demetrious Johnson - Maybe
5) Anthony Pettis vs. Jose Aldo - No chance
6) Jon Jones vs. Chris Weidman - No chance
7) Ronda Rousey vs. Cris "Cyborg" Justino - No chance
8) Cain Velasquez vs. Jon Jones - No chance.

^^ Sums up my thoughts.

McGregor vs. Pettis is the real true superfight after McGregor runs through Aldo.

Bleacher Report? Well of course this list is going to be terrible!

best time ever for GSP vs Anderson! Especially when GSP is all bulked up...... as long as Anderson comes off a nice win over Nick.

almost every fight you list won't happen. The only one even remotely plausible is Cain/Jones or Pettis/Aldo

I'd wager strongly that none of them will happen with the possible exception of Pettis vs Aldo. That said, Jones vs Cain is the fight I'd most like to see.

That's a terrible list, even for Bleacherreport.

This.

1) Brock Lesnar vs. Fedor Emelianenko - Brock hasn't officially come back and has Fedor given any reason to think he's coming back at all?

2) Anderson Silva vs. Georges St-Pierre - It was recently reported that GSP has no intention to come back this year.

3) Ben Askren vs. Robbie Lawler (or Johny Hendricks) - Askren

4) T.J. Dillashaw vs. Demetrious Johnson - Dillashaw isn't a super fight. He needs to string some defenses together.

5) Anthony Pettis vs. Jose Aldo - See Dillashaw

6) Jon Jones vs. Chris Weidman - See Pettis

7) Ronda Rousey vs. Cris "Cyborg" Justino - Cyborg doesn't look close to being signed.

8) Cain Velasquez vs. Jon Jones - Jones has personal problems and Gus or Rumble this year. Plus Cain needs defenses before being in a legitimate super fight.

According to a recent article on BleacherReport.com, there are eight UFC superfights that "could happen" in 2015.

Here is their list:

1) Brock Lesnar vs. Fedor Emelianenko
2) Anderson Silva vs. Georges St-Pierre
3) Ben Askren vs. Robbie Lawler (or Johny Hendricks)
4) T.J. Dillashaw vs. Demetrious Johnson
5) Anthony Pettis vs. Jose Aldo
6) Jon Jones vs. Chris Weidman
7) Ronda Rousey vs. Cris "Cyborg" Justino
8) Cain Velasquez vs. Jon Jones

1) No chance whatsoever
2) Extremely unlikely
3) Not a superfight
4) Unlikely and is not a true superfight
5) The most likely fight out of the list. But Pettis needs significantly more title defenses to make it a superfight.
6) I do not see Weidman going up unless he loses, which will make it a non-super fight.
7) Just no
8) Extremely unlikely

Fact: Absolutely none of those fights will happen
