..and showed he still got it.
Legend, and one of the best ever.
War, Cro Cop!
Can it really be called avenging the loss when the first fight would have got him a title shot and he was on top of the world, and the second fight both guys were shot and the fight didn't matter?
They should have made the Fedor fight again, he would've avenged that one too. For some reason Cro Cop went out of prime before all his peers but his out of prime status is better than everyone else's out of prime status.
It's as good as he's gonna get, give the man a break
Yeah watched that one with mixed feelings. lol.
2015 was a hell of a year, I really loved the "Welcome to the show" line up of UFC cards
You beat a guy that beat you, that's considered avenging a loss. Pretty much common sense. Some fighters and all time greats that had experience the same will never had the chance to do it, and probably still wished that they had a chance to run it back. Mirko at the end of the day can look back and say he had beat the guy that beat him. The stakes don't matter coz Gonzaga never won the title anyway.
What a warrior Mirko was. The sport was lucky to have someone like him.
The world made sense again after that fight
Still disappointing there was no shoop thread after though....
Mirko was supposed to win and keep the belt for a good while...goddamn Gonzaga
CroCop with a sprawl is a nightmare in the cage!
Jesus 6 years ago?
Properly avenging the loss would be to almost murder Gonzaga. This evened their record at 1-1.
My thoughts exactly!
