Debut Chuck at 28yrs old
The abs.Was the 6-pack in reference to Chuck's abs or preferred weekend beverages?
Chuck was a warrior, though. And he did have a pretty late start to his career. He was definitely past his prime 10 years later when he lost his LHW belt to Rampage.
His grit really impressed me. Very few fighters were happy in the trenches.Wasn’t a fan in his heyday but came around at the end.
Sad to hear him talk now. You can here the toll his career and life style have taken on him.
Yeah, I was joking but Chuck was known for partying as well. The abs.
He was literally starting his career when people now are peaking.
His career was carried by his chin and ready-for-war attitude.
What a stud.

Definitely drugs didn’t help. His grit really impressed me. Very few fighters were happy in the trenches.
I wonder how much of his current issue is drug induced though.
To be fair to Chuck, this was early in his career before he developed his Duran-Hearns esque boxing skills and became the best boxer of the ultimate fighting championship era.
What? Everyone knows Chuck started as a wrestler. He pioneered sprawl n brawl using his wrestling in reverse. Early on he fought a Muay Thai fighter who KOd Anderson named Pele in Brazil and got hit with a head kick that should have KOd him and still won using wrestling. It wasn't til UFC said they wouldn't have him back if he wrestled did he fall in love with his hands and start KOing people
Yes but he never used offensive wrestling except against this guy
He took the easiest path to victory. That's MMA.
But everybody sayint he had legendary striking... He wasn't confident enough to show it against an unknown.
