I have heard alot of good response to this program around here. I was just wondering when you guys personalize this program, do you keep all 3 days w/ squat in it. If so you never rundown on that???? Sorry if this is a stupid question. Im just curious about the idea behind this. Thanks guys

I don't because in addition to lifting I train at a dojo. Ain't gonna happen.

What exercises are you doing on each day? Are you doing 5 heavy sets across on the squats each day? If you are getting rundown it may make sense to use that 2nd day as a light squat day especially if you are DL'ing on that day or maybe even substitute the DL for the squat.

I do the 5x5 as posted in the FAQ (the eclipse version), except that I drop the sets down to 4. The second squat day is at 75% as well, so that helps.

I'm also doing fight training every night in the gym. I think I manage not to overtrain because my squat is still pretty lame and as such not as taxing as the guys who hit heavier weights. That said, I have been feeling kind of shitty lately...but I think its just a cold. Oh no you've got me paranoid.

So if I'm not training at the moment 3 squat days should be fine?

I would suggest a medium day, a light day (probably the day you DL) and a heavy day.
