No excuse for this fight not to happen!
honestly we all thought that when wilder was offered the 100m by dazn bur he didn’t even consider it before fckin it off. Once again it shows that only 1 guy has been serious about this fight and unifying. 50/50 split, neutral venue, this isn’t an offer that can be turned down without looking like a fckin coward
It's a shame that this offer wasn't made last yr, hopefully something can be worked out going forward
But it's good that AJ's team have corrected the error of their ways and admitted to the mistakes they made, errors which may have somewhat prevented this fight from happening.
After all the denials, and all the potshots it takes a big man to come forward publically and to essentially say "but for me this fight could have happened already"
Kudos to Eddie Hearn
I think both sides are as interested in making the other seem like ducks than actually trying to make an honest deal
the error being an offer of $100m ok got it
You believe that number?
Lol yep... because a contract litterally just says $100m in big crayon letters. Not like there are any other stipulations or terms.
Yeah they were so in the right. That's why Wilder is getting a better offer a year later. Has more momentum. While AJ has been exposed as more vulnerable. Not to mention more leverage for Wilder and his team.
Yeah if I somebody comes to buy my car and I turn down their intial offer. Then they come back with a better offer...I was wrong????
No logic or truth in your guy's point. All feels.
I'll say this. I will say you guys are right if Wilder doesn't beat Fury. If he does you are dead wrong and just being bias.
Wilder has a lot to thank Fury for he has raised his profile massively done more for him in the last 18months than his management has done in his entire career.
Wilder and his team said it was true....so yes
His management made the Fury fight in order to out maneuver Hearn. Seems like they played it well. Tysons team too.
In fact the trilogy is so smart Hearn may have to concede other stipulations in order to cut in line before the 3rd fight.
Fury has helped Wilder some but thats and extreme exaggeration. Lol
That's a very one sided view.....as usual.
Hearn wont need to make any concessions he will wait until after the third fight if need be there is no rush as AJ has the two mandatories due this year.
Issue will be how AJ fits in with Whytes WBC shot
did you watch the video??
This whole video is an absolute concession in terms of the offer to wilder/fury
And an attempt to get them before a potential 3rd fight, if possible, so yes there is a rush
also a unification can supersede a mandatory
so, everything you have said here is wrong...as usual
One sided is not admitting they guy who is getting the better offer now is right. Or to see the better offer and still try to pretend like you've seen the full contract and like his team had nothing to do with this smart play.
What will happen to Whyte's mandatory status if he loses his next fight?
Very good, fuck the trilogy. If wilder takes out fury in brutal fashion theres no need for a third. Same goes for Fury outpointing or ko'ing deontay.
Winner vs Joshua is the fight. It needs to happen.
My point is they are not going to give further concessions are they? Yes they would like it before the 3rd fight if possible but they are not going to bend over backwards for it are they.
What have I said that is wrong? I am right to point out the whyte fight as Hearn is thinking if AJ doesn't fight them before the 3rd fight an AJ fight wont happen until mid 2021
It's sort of an ego stroke for both sides.
Safe to assume he will lose it wont he......like if Wilder looses to Fury he will loose the offer vs AJ wont he.
You feel superior by offering a supposed deal of a lifetime.
I feel superior by declining and saying it's beneath me or whatever bullshit he's spewing.
He is not getting a better "now" is he......its an offer for the winner of Fury vs Wilder
