5 Years Ago Rashad Evans Headlined a PPV, Today He Headlines Fight Pass

Yeah he’s gone pretty downhill in 5 years.

Don’t forget Alvarez went from headlining a fight with Conor to headlining prelims on FX.

Gun shy Rashad is gun shy, has been since Machida knocked him out.

He has no bizness at MW. Not sure if shad has income from other sources, but he should retire.

to be fair I think he got robbed in his last fight. but yeah, he fell off big time.

It's a testament to how great this card is. And it's still an effort to get FP subscribers, too.

Look at JoeB''s placement under Rashad. Rashad hasn't won since 11/2013, having lost 4 times since. Benavidez hasn't lost since 12/2013, having won 6 times since.

Well...I mean 5 years is a longtime especially in fighting

I think they are doing the right thing with Rashad. It's rare that a former champion/headliner gets a chance to face lower ranked competion and work their way back up after they lose a step. Usually they face killers and kepp getting battered until they retire

He hasn't won a fight in 5 years either.

A year ago Overeem headlined a PPV over CM Punk. Today he's on prelims, below him.

Rashad looks physically capable but he simply just doesn't do anything, he wants to fight but when he gets in there he has a complete mental block.

I thought I read somewhere they're putting more big names on the free prelims in an attempt to draw a bigger audience to the PPVs.

Not only that, he headlined a couple million buy PPVs as well back in the day
