Who is your top 5 most overrated rappers of all time? I've got

    1. Kendrick Lamar
    2. Hopsin
    3. J cole
    4. Tupac
    5. Eminem

Should have put jay z and not eminem. This is just my opinion.

Edit: little Wayne and drake are so bad I forgot to add them

I don't care for Eminem.... but I don't see how he can be overrated.

Outside of infinite and lp 1, everything's been pretty bad. I should have put jay z in his spot honestly though.

    Chuck D
    Tupac
    Beastie Boys
    Run DMC
    JayZ

I'm only basing this on lyrical skills.
Chuck D's rhymes are just terrible.
The Beastie Boys rhymes are as simple as "the black cat wears a hat"
Run DMC is even more simple "The cat wears a hat"

What are you basing it on though?

Take recent songs like Bizerk and Rap God....
That's some pretty impressive lyrical talent he still has.

He has bar patterns that underground guys like a Sage Francis or someone uses but he does it at a popular level.

Wayne is the most overrated ever, but current Eminem is up there. His music now is just horrible and has been for a decade
Big L is p4p pretty overrated. There are people who seriously say he is the greatest ever

List of most over-rated rappers includes 2Pac but no Lil Wayne? For shame.

I don't find those impressive honestly. I respect eminem don't got me wrong. Jon Connor does the same type of bars and does it even faster.

Kool Keith used to diss Run DMC years back making fun of their rhyme pattern.
Saying things like Dr. Suess is a more accomplished mc than anyone in the group.

Kool Moe Dee said the Beasties had possibly the most simplistic rhyme pattern he ever heard.
It was kind of cool when they would pass the mic off on the first album.... but they're really only rhyming things like...
"it was so great when the great ape ate a grape"
