49-46 Machida Is a Joke

Meh.
I agree it was a close fight, but being disgusted just shows you are a sore loser.
The fight was close. I felt Machida won 1-2-5.
But wouldn't say 49-46...

Commentators were giving Anders credit for shit he wasn't landing when he bull rushed in. Not even close in my eyes.

Don't care fight sucked. Machida ran in circles the whole time

There's a case to be made for 48-47 Machida, but I don't know which of Round 3/4 you give him. Same result, but makes it look fishy.

I'm not disgusted with the result, just that last judge.

These new age kids disrespecting a legend like machida is getting annoying.

I'd like to see someone argue for 49-46...

48-47, okay.

One judge did get it right. 48-47 Machida.

People often keep kicks too low on their radar.

Who ever won round 2 won the fight. It was a really close round. I kinda feel Lyoto took that round, but it was really close

The UFC laid an egg again. It's the die-hard fans who will keep watching with their eyes glued to the TV no matter how much it sucks.

dude, it's one round he scored for Machida instead of Anders.
Could have been the angle, the ref could have blocked his view, he could have missed one attack from Anders that would have swayed his score...

rounds were close.

To be disgusted by one point is ridiculous.
Not when we have scores that are skewed 2-3 points on a 3 rounds fight

I mean, I hear ya. I cringed when I heard the score (I even thought it was for Anders).
But at the end of the day, it was one point difference (I had 47-48 Machida).

I had it 50-45. But i use judging fights little differently. I give rounds to the fighter I like more. Seriously though it was huge robbery, but fuck that guy calling out a way past his prime machida to make a name for himself of him. Glad it backfired

When the whole thing comes down to basically 5 points (10-9=1 point difference per round, which is what we see almost all the time), 1 point is a big deal. Especially when Brazil is famous for terrible judging decisions.

Got a strike total?
