They will change it in the future to set up the Poirer final fight. He's only lost to the best, champ and #1 contender that will be fighting for the title soon. This ranking is just while he's recovering so people don't complain about his ranking while not fighting. He will move into the top 5 when the fight is made.

This. It would actually be in his best interest to drop his ranking and make him fight someone less skilled if he still wants to get back in there. He has no business being in there with the top 10 right now.
