The MMA, fightings sport and sport in general is the only job you can become hella rich with just throwing punches, running, climbing, whatever else, you need no diploma, degres, studies, not even need to go to school, missing school is even a good thing so you can fight on the street at a young age and get strong basics

BTW if its so easy to run a huge company like the ufc and pay everybody millions dollars per fights why these fighters dont run their own organisation?

100k a fight is plenty enough, and by the way you can pay them as much they want they would cry they are broke after the next fight because they are horrible at taking care of their money, spend on sports car and las vegas shit, usual shit

Dana bless, the goat of MMA, dealing with thousand of killers who want more money like a boss

The guys making close to a million per fight definitely get enough. It's ridiculous how people think athletes should make like 50 million by playing sports for a few years.

A lot of fighters in the UFC are definitely underpaid though.

Well said, the little divas should actually be fighting for freedom.

War gladiator era

Athletes in most sports around the world are paid about 30% of the revenue stream. It varies a bit, but that is average.

Golf is more- more privlieged players with resources to fight bullshit. Some sports are less.

But most come out about 30%.

UFC is 10-15%. So yes, Dana & the owners are screwing the guys & gals who bleed. All that "opportunity" stuff is bull. Every sport with a players union earns 2x as much by comparison to revenue.

And it's a broad sample man from USA to multiple sports in Europe, Asia, Oceania... UFC get screwed. The common denominator is no organised union.

the stars should stunt and be on MTV cribs, get the baddest bitches and be similar to nfl and nba players on terms of status and hollywood swagger, not be broke fucks that struggle to pay rent and cant even get a lambo.
Basically there should be some prime mike tyson tier fuck you money fighters and No mcgregor doesnt count since he had to go outside the promotion and be a 1/1000000000000000000000000000000 lucky star to make the money (while dana is ripping him off like 50% of the mayweather fight for no reason)
.

Thats what the fighters complain about. the ufc is too popular for them to be average 6 figure chumps, you 9 to 5 slaves are raging and compare yourself to them and thats the first mistake you made they AINT like you fuckers, they're like lebron james and tyson fury, deontay wilder, superstars. Drill that into your thick broke skulls and stop enabling the red baldy's predatory activities.

This.

why these fighters dont run their own organisation?

If they made an organization they would be poorly paid. They are not good at business.

To be honest, those who have been poorly paid are the UFC fighters from the '90s.

Dana Is WAY to kind and if the fighters had any decency they would donate a further 20% to him for his loyalty and good nature

Not sure if they are paid enough or too little. Either way, it's up to them to ensure they get what they want, same as the rest of us.

I don't think thats the main issue with MMA though, rather its how bad the pay is outside of the top level which is very important in a sport that depends on attracting talent from other sporrs.

Really the whole pay arguement I would argue making it just about the fighters is incorrect, its actually us the fans who are being short changed, our money is going into the pockets of a promoter not being invested in the sport as much as it should be and as a result we arent getting the standard of product we should be.
