i mean, he watch the same event as us, go to gym as us, did few mma training like us just to learn some basics etc

He have nothing more we dont have, we are all hardcore fans here, what make him a "specialist/expert" over us? because he can watch the same fight but closer to the cage?

He can approach fighters closer? talk with them few minutes ? so what? this is what make him a specialist? what can he learn more talking to conor in backstage five minutes before the weigh in???????

The discussion will be as average as it could be, conor will say to rogan that he is fired up, that he is in the shape of his life, that he loved what rogan said about him in the last JRE, that his kids are doing well, etc

What Rogan is saying, random orange belt in sherdog can say it too, Ronda is the wmma goat, Nunes is the wmma goat, khabib is the goat, jones is the goat, conor is the biggest star, ngannou is a scary man, the last fight between this fighter and this fighter was amazing, the water is wet

is that being a specialist? saying obvious thing or telling the new fighter trendy is the goat?

Rogan NEVER teached me anything about mma, he is a fan and commentatory just like us

Royce Gracie is a "specialist/expert", Rogan is NOOTHIN, or if he is, no problem, but we are too

He is one lucky sob.
But none is luckier than Dana. That is the most untalented, unwitty, uncreative, uncharismatic, clueless sob in the business. Doesn't understand fights, doesn't know his fighters, never predicted a fight. He has very poor vocabularry, consisting of 10 senteces he repeats all the time and his main job is to DEMOTE all the fighters who ask for more money.
Yet he managed to become the richest guy in the sport.

Wow, never thought somebody would envy joe rogan to the point of rage rant anon online.

I don’t think he ever claimed he was a fight analyst. He’s a color commentator.

I admit he has a little cockiness in his observations, which makes it gratifying when he’s proven wrong, but I never considered him an expert.

it's *PAID

why is it Sherdoggers simply cannot spell? so weird.

Except he’s interesting and your not TS
Coming from a guy who have less "likes" than messages to me who have less messages than "likes", its a bit ironic to hear that from you, you dont think so?

If im not interesting, what the fuck you are my dude?

<FookIsThatGuy>

By the way if you found interesting a man who have a new GOAT every week (terribly contradictory) and who believe in E.T and ghosts, well...be it

I mean there's way more to it than that. Pre-production meetings, doing the research before fights, doing the promo stuff.

But how is Royce on the mic?

It's like saying "we are all able to talk, why don't we get to be a radio DJ/host?"

Joe has the gift of gab, and 99.9999% of people don't...

I dunno if this is trolling, or if I should bother explaining this, but he was a comedian for years before his podcast blew up. It has nothing to do with his expertise, some people just have a talent for talking in such a way that people wanna listen. Plus, he isn't a smart person, but he does have his own point of view. He is more outspoken than the average celebrity

If you wanna start a podcast about MMA then more power to you. Follow your dreams, but don't do it expecting money and fame

I think he definitely presents himself as a play by play expert.

You can get lucky with one good event. Or one good year. But you’re not lucky when you turn a 1 mil purchase into what the UFC is today.

Even the Fertittas credit Dana for what the UFC is today. TUF and Griffin vs Bonnar was all Dana.

Was he lucky that the fight went the way it did? Of course, but the very fact that he had the idea to try it suggests he knows a little more than you’re giving him credit for.

He bascily did nothing, but demote the fighters and pay them as little as possible, so that all the profits goes to the company. Also everything I said previously.
