It was my most anticipated fight of the season probably. It's been a long time since I've walked into a fight without the slightest idea of who's gonna win (I lie chandler vs oliveira was another one, though I picked oliveira). I was worried that we'd never get to see it because of all the politicking and ufc making fights like edgar vs sandhagen
It was exciting because it was in a way a yair vs zabit type fight. Two extremely technical and flashy strikers. One with excellent wrestling. The difference is unlike yair, sandhagen has good bjj and subs. It was interesting to see how sandhagen would deal with the wrestling, how tj would deal with the striking. This is what I like seeing in mma. More of this and less usman and mcgregor rematches.
