Curtis Millender has to fight McDonald and then Magomedkerimov

You know these match-ups matter quite a lot for the playoff

Special shoutout to Sy for having to fight Aleskhin and then Kynochenko

Aleksakhin Vs Cooper is a banger of a fight btw.

Also Vinny Vs Shoeface could see some amazing BJJ exchanges if it hits the mat, two world champion level grapplers.

I was doing my usual stat work and noticed a real serious pattern emerging for PFL matchmaking. It wasn't good. I might write a study up at the end of the season depending on the results.

I wanted to put some vcash on tonight! oh well hope @helax is okay. Tapology it is.
Went with Lawlor cause he's cool and Camozzi for LoLz.
Cooper vs Aleksakhin is a toss up imo, just went through several of Aleksakhin fights to be better informed. Of course if Aleksakhin falls out minutes before the fight I'd watch Ray Cooper III blast Jake Shields again.

Is there a way to know who advances and how this all works? The standings on their website sucks.

If only 4 qualify to the playoffs why are there 3 events for the playoffs? How will they fill up those events?

The mayority of the lightweights have 3 points. Who will qualify to the playoffs if there are only 2 matches in the season and they all already fought twice?

This is very confusing and hard to keep track on.

They're stretching the prelims out to 3 and a half hours again.

<{vega}>

forgot this was happening, came home high and went to open youtube in browser and somehow ended up on my ESPN+ page and remembered this is going on. Fantastic.

Kenny with the dig <Lmaoo><Lmaoo><Lmaoo>

Magomed at -1450 seems absurd even with him being a immense favorite.

How do you become a 7-time national champion in wrestling and then only become an candidate for the Olympic team? I mean, if you're that dominant, how do you miss that spot?

Sy's freakish length and size could actually give a lot of trouble to someone as point focused and sniping as Kunchenko, ala Rashid Magomedov losing to Nate Andrews.

In before Kunchenko just takes him down.

UFF Hour break between fights again?!!

1.) We will know if Rory and Ray and I think if a couple of the Heavyweights move on, RIP the HW tournament tho,

2.) Rematches are very common in the semis. but that's good question the semis historically have had 8 fighters and fight 2 times in one night. So no quarterfinals and straight to semis and those are single elimination. There were 3 semi events last year too but again there were 8 semifinalists, probably some filler fights like if they can get Fabricio healthy and figure out Aliev's problems. Knowing PFL Clarissa Shields probably fights again one of those nights.

3.) Reminds me of high school debate tournaments. Eventually they go to tie breakers and opponents opponents and shit.

No SportsBook @helax
