not a chance in hell

Jan beat up a couple of of chininy washed up middleweights, a mentally broken Dominick Reyes, and Corey Anderson

prior to that he was prelim fodder losing to the likes of Patrick Cummins unanimously

Anderson Silva would have danced around 38 year old Jan Blachowicz with ease

now we have a LHW title main event coming up between two geriatrics who could never reach for the brass ring while they were in their primes

thanks a lot of izzy

Looking back at the fight, I can't believe Adesanya had no answer for Jan's rudimentary and basic if not at times sloppy offensive attacks. This supposed "world class level striker" had no answer for it at all, got outstruck every round and had zero answers when he got put on his back. It shows how overrated he is and that he's feasting on crude strikers and guys who can't level-change or wrestle.

Anderson lost to Takase and Chonan in his prime, he could certainly lose to Jan.

in all of those losses he was clearly the superior fighter and was mauling Chonan. He got caught in submissions. Anyone can lose

Israel was not the superior fighter. He didn't just get caught. He was just outclassed everywhere by a 39 year old gatekeeper

Pride rigged fights.... for Japanese wrestlers.... its a known fact... that said... this is an unfair comparison Anderson was heavier than izzy in his prime and had better lateral movement.. I think izzy has a different skillet than silva even though they have comparable styles.

Adesanya might be just as good of a middleweight, but to be honest he could be 170 185 Silva was definitely a 185 205 guy in his prime.

Huge silva fan.

Chonan and Takase where both well ahead of Anderson in the fight before he tapped.

Jan is a beneficiary of a weak UFC LHW division. Dude wouldn’t get past Phil Davis or Rumble. Once again UFC casuals can’t think for themselves and believe everything UFC tells them. “UFC level” is a myth perpetuated by casual UFC fans who don’t know anything about mma and cannot distinguish high level talent when they see it because they’ve never trained a day in their life.

I hate when people just say bullshit. Chonan was getting fucked up the entire fight. Anderson was literally just spamming strikes against him and had no respect for Chonan

the Takase fight was Anderson's 13th fight and was only 1 round

not sure if true, but regardless, the Takase fight was his 13th professional fight
and he outclassed Chonan

again, the point is that Israel had zero answer over 5 rounds for a 38 year old gatekeeper
Anderson became number 1 in the world at WW when he beat Sakurai which was before he lost to Chonan and Takase.

LMAO. Chonan was well ahead in that fight even the commentators said so. The only people that think Chonan was losing didn't watch the fight and get their opinions from the short video you posted instead of actually watching the fight.
