Nope. Nick fought a post-ACL injury GSP who didn't have the same cardio. Of course GSP still won, but prime GSP (circa 2009) had cardio that rivaled Nick's and would just take him down and eventually start pummeling him until the ref saw enough. Same with Usman vs. Nick. I really don’t think Nick would have beaten GSP in a no time limit situation. And we’ve seen Nate get finished by Thompson and Masvidal so that’s out. Benson dominated him to the point where I don’t see how he could’ve come back, and in a 10 round fight I don’t think he would have been able to walk out of the cage against RDA so I don’t see those outcomes changing either.

I love the Diaz brothers but this narrative has gotten way out of hand. You prepare for and fight the fight you signed for. Not an imaginary contest with rules that cater to your specific strengths.
