I think Tony's career went better than I ever would have predicted.

He won a belt. Never had to fight Khabib. And despite getting dropped and beat up and rocked in every fight he made it to 37 before he lost a step.

This sport is tough, especially in the UFC. Its very unforgiving. Theres a lot of luck involved too, sometimes you’re hot and sometimes u get caught. Look at guys that nearly made it to the top n then just couldnt do it. Dominic reyes is one who looked like a world beater, then gets beat badly. Same with tony.

Never got his title shot? How many times did they try to make the Khabib vs Tony fight? Anyone with any brains at all, knows he'd have been badly raped anyway. He needs to go to another organization quick, if he ever wants a title. He's been nowhere near a top five fighter in the UFC, since Gaethje broke him.

The blue print is out on how to beat him. In hindsight, with his submissions always being against people who were rocked/tired/beat up, it appears patient fighters with good top control and sub defence are his weakness. That and being 37 means hes probably done at the top
