How long can the UFC continue to hype Chandler without saying the word “Bellator”

He is only 1 fight into his ufc career.. so all the pre fight hype will have to include bellator. They would drop it if he wins and defends one or two times I think.

"Former LW World Title Holder" like they do with anyone else from an Org thats competition.

They’ve already acknowledged Bellator completely. They were banking on him being an Askren or Brooks but looks like he’s gonna be an Alvarez or potentially Volkov down the road

Either way it was a win/win for them. Didn't matter how the cards were dealt they can spin the narrative either way. He loses, Bellator level under UFC level just like Askren. If he wins, they stole Bellator's top talent. Win/win either way. That's why he got the title shot after the win. Whatever the outcome is it will still be a win/win situation for UFC.

Side note, all fighters from other promotions that win their first major fight usually lose their 2nd fight. This is due to increasing the difficulty level for their next fight. Something to think about with this fight. High level submission grappler with the most submissions wins in UFC history will not be an easy win.

They've put it out there as much as they feel they need to.

Wasteland this. They’ve already mentioned him as a former bellator champ on several occasions. TS just trying to instigate shit because it’s cool to hate on the UFC.

It's irrelevant to talk about Bellator. The UFC has the best fighters in the world and that's why Michael Chandler is now a UFC fighter. He's not a Bellator fighter anymore. He's a UFC fighter.

Not true. Half the pride guys cucked the ufc competition. Example: anderson came from a loss in pride and became me goat for years in ufc.
