Heavyweight: Ciryl Gane moves to (#3) and Marcin Tybura moves to (#11), while Curtis Blaydes falls to (#4)

Pretty sure that's a mistake on the UFC website. Weidman didn't move. And Sean Strickland moved up, not down, following his win over Jotko.

This site hasn't updated its rankings yet.

He's the lowest ranked guy on a 7 fight winning streak.

They're showing him as tied at #10 with Paul Felder. Felder shouldn't be ranked #10 but because the UFC likes him they are tying him and Islam instead of dropping Felder.

After the vacant LW title fight this weekend Islam will move up to #9 contender because one of the ranked guys will become champ.

How can they have two fighters sitting at 10? How does that work? (Felder and Makhachaev)

I think a top 10 would be much better and not expose the lack of depth in this wannabe sport.

Islam has steadily been climbing the rankings for the past year through hype alone
Islam Makhachaev deserve his spot. Now its turn to UFC to give him someone between 5-9 (Hooker,Felder).

Oliveira beat Jared Gordon and then got to fight a top 10 fighter in Lee. Oliveira was ranked 13.
