Just watched it. Two really cool fighters who took their fights on short notice.
Alex Morono says he's dreamed of this experience for a long time, beating a legend & doing a post-fight interview. He's a huge fan of Donald Cerrone, appreciates his Muay Thai and watched his appearance on It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. Wanted to frustrate his rhythm and every time he got hit, return with a hard shot to prevent him from getting into a flow. Describes highlights of Cerrone's career. Would like to see Cerrone go back to 155. Says Cerrone deserves to call his final shots. Alex says he loves training with Fortis MMA, very supportive attitude from everyone there.
Marina Rodriguez describes all the stuff she did to make it to the fight on time. Trains, buses, waiting all night for visa approval, jumping into a car to the airport to arrive in Vegas Wednesday. Has tremendous respect for Michelle Waterson. Marina said she was trying really hard for a KO finish but her opponent was super tough to put away. Feels the entire experience made her a better fighter and better person. Says she'd like to fight a couple more times this year, someone ranked higher and eventually for the belt.
