I'd buy the DVDs just to watch the prelim fights(they never use to show them) and the backstage stuff.


Every event was a big deal to me bc there were only like 3-4 events a year
And what do events mean to you today....I guess.

What are you saying? Like, people get banned and are back in 2 minutes with a new account? Or maybe some, create multiple accounts at a time so that when one get's clipped, they just move over to the other? Because that would just be dastardly!

Those were the days. I remember trying to watch a grainy Russian link of Ricco Rodriguez vs Randy Couture back in highschool. I had the original UFC game for my Dreamcast and that's really what started my interest with MMA.

I put my UFC 69 DVD in the other week and I was blown away because I knew every single fighter on the card. The event was from 2007 and I started watching fighting in 2010 and I know more guys from that card then I do with current stuff.
 
The UFC is pretty much garbage now.
