Dude was throwing some absolutely hellacious bodyshots, and got a highlight reel ko at the end.

He could not control his weight thus they could not give him title shots no matter how much he were to achieve. Tried him at 125 and 135 just couldn't make weight.

Missed weight a bunch, pulled out of a bunch of fights.

They didn't want to pay a bantamweight who wasn't quite good enough to win the title his worth. Regardless of how exciting he is. Maybe if he had been bigger.

Imagine having a fighter beat all the top contenders but never make weight to fight for the belt. Thats bad for business. TS, is very uneducated.

Did he miss weight at 135?

Once. Either way he's at 145 now so making even 135 was a stretch for him and was trying to make 125,135 cause his skill set is harder to deal with in those divisions. But it's all for the best for all parties cause at ONE he might end up as the 145 champ and in the UFC he wouldn't have been able to do that(even at 125 he prolly wouldn't have been able to beat MM if he'd gotten the shot).

Yeah a shame he had an exciting fighting style everything else would have lined up for him if not for his weight issues.

I rooted for him because he had a normal sounding name despite being from Brasil. LOL

The density of violence was too much for Dana to handle.

Because it's not fair having a guy with hands of stone against normal human beings
