Jones wants $50M to get slept. Dana isn't going to give it to him, knowing Jones will need to fight again at some point & will have to settle for $10M plus ppv points.

Jones isn't a big draw unless he's fighting DC, so Dana is willing to let him waste the last year or 2 of his fading prime.
