UFC 261 marks the first event with fans back since UFC 248. Let's talk about how the current state of the UFC landscape would look like if Dana decided to shut it off instead of having no crowd cards:

Cejudo would still be the BW champion
Khabib would be 28-0 and still the LW champion
DC would still be next in line to face Stipe for the HW belt
Weili would... Nevermind
Izzy and Costa would both still be undefeated
Jones would still be the LHW champ
Ferguson would still be on his unbeaten run

The USA has record cases because we have third most populous country in the world who happens to also be top 10most obese which is exactly who was at risk by this virus, we tested at a rate matched by no one else and China did not report their real numbers.\

And none of that has anything to do with the fact masks do not work and the shutdown was completely unnecessary.

The US still has one of the worst records when you factor in population size, Einsten. Regardless how the US did, the point is there is still plenty of evidence that lockdown measures work in preventing transmission. The obesity thing is correct and would have been a reason for taking the situation seriously knowing you have a vulnerable population.
